The essence of the concept of financial security of the economic entities is determined. The mission, the goal and the objectives of the financial security of economic entities are formed. The requirements for the formation, content and components of the given concept are clarified. The author’s developed concept has allowed to form the system of financial security of the economic entities, which should be the basis for building a financial security mechanism for the economic entities. It is proved that the financial security system of the economic entities is the multilevel structure of the basic elements that are in a certain hierarchy.
