Проаналізовано основні інтегральні оцінки стану розвитку національної економіки, а саме: Глобальний індекс конкурентоспроможності (Global Competitiveness Index), згідно з яким у 2016-2017 роках Україна поступилася на 6 позицій в рейтингу і посіла 85 місце серед 138 досліджуваних країн, та Індекс ведення бізнесу (Doing Business Index), згідно з яким у 2017 році Україна поліпшила за рік свої показники на 3 пункти і посіла 80-е місце рейтингу. Проведено аналіз основних макроекономічних показників України, а саме: валовий внутрішній продукт, стабільність національної валюти, рівень інфляції, рівень безробіття, рівень доходів населення. Визначено основні стратегічні орієнтири покращення макроекономічних показників та економічної безпеки держави в цілому.The article highlights the issues of economic security of the state and examines the impact of the macroeconomic environment on the macro-level of economic security. The main integrated assessments of the of development state of the national economy have been analyzed, such as the Global Competitiveness Index and the Doing Business Index. According to the ranking of countries by Global Competitiveness Index in 2016-2017 Ukraine lost 6 positions and ranked 85th among 138 studied countries. The authors of the rating note that Ukraine still has a rather high position according to the indicators: market capacity (47th place), health care, elementary education (54), although positions in the ranking have deteriorated by these indicators comparing with the last year. According to the ranking of countries by to the components of Doing Business Index in 2017, Ukraine has improved its performance by 3 points for the year and ranked 80th in the rating. It should be noted that the improvement was partly due to methodological changes, in particular the introduction of a gender component and the expansion of tax indicators, but the reforms have changed the country's position by only one point. The main macroeconomic indicators of Ukraine have been analyzed, namely: gross domestic product, national currency stability, inflation rate, unemployment rate, income level of the population. According to the GDP criterion, the Ukrainian economy lags 3-5 times behind European partners (Poland, Slovakia, EU). The last decade, which demonstrated the growth in more than a one and a half times of world GDP (from $ 47.2 trillion in 2005 to $ 73.2 trillion in 2015), is generally characterized for the Ukrainian economy by a loss of possibilities of abstinence and expanding of the presence on the world market with intensified competition on a new technological level. The level of inflation in the country indicates the growth of prices for consumer goods, products of industrial production. The amount of money supply in the country's economic turnaround plays the main role.
