Визначено, що капітал страхової компанії необхідно поділяти на власний, залучений та позиковий та розглянуто основні характеристики його складових. Акцентована увага на показниках капіталізації вітчизняних страховиків за даними 6 місяців 2016 року. Описані методи формування капіталу страхових компаній як ключові складові загального механізму формування капіталу страховика у сучасному бізнес-середовищі, виділено їх переваги та недоліки.Aim of the article is research of the theoretical and practical aspects of forming of capital of insurance companies in a modern business-environment. In the article certainly, that the capital of insurance company must be divided into own, attracted and loan and basic descriptions of his constituents are considered. The accented attention is on the indexes of capitalization of home insurers from data of 6 months of 2016. Described methods of forming of capital of insurance companies, constituents of general mechanism of forming of capital of insurer in a modern business-environment, their advantages and defects are distinguished.
