У дослідженні схарактеризовано різні погляди на виокремлення лексико-семантичних груп в торговельно-економічній лексиці на різних етапах становлення. Аналіз наукових праць показує, що немає єдиної думки щодо виокремлення та класифікації торговельно-економічних одиниць. У своїх працях автори виділяють такі лексико-семантичні групи: торговельну, економічну, фінансову, фінансово-кредитну та фінансово-економічну комерційну лексику.Stages of formation of Ukrainian trade-economical lexicon from the XI centuries to nowadays are described. Various views about distinguishing of lexico-semantical groups of trade-economical lexicon in different stages of forming are characterized. Analysis of scientific researches shows that there is no single thought about distinguishing and classification of trade-economical units. Authors distinguish such lexico-semantical groups in their works: trade, economical, financial, financial-credit commercial lexicon. The trade and economic vocabulary of the Ukrainian language has not yet been the subject of special study, although it is a significant part of the vocabulary of the language. Different approaches to classification of trade-economical terms are described: historical, lexico-semantical and structural-grammatical. Character features of lexico-semantical groupsrelated to economic and trade are distinguished. Main ways of creating new terms – terminologisation and determinologisation are described. Different views to periodisation of the development of Ukrainian trade-economical terminosystem are analyzed. Research shows that main part of trade-economical lexicon of Modern Ukrainian language has been derived from Old Ukrainian language. Ukrainian trade-economical lexicon forms a great part of Ukrainian terminosystem. The analysis of the scientific investigations of the lexical composition of the Ukrainian language shows that trade and economic vocabulary is a significant part of the vocabulary of the language, but linguists do not have a consensus on the identification and classification of trade and economic units.
