Досліджено лексико-семантичні групи, що містять терміни латинського походження у писемних пам’ятках XІV–XVIІI століть. Розглянуто основні шляхи проникнення лексичних латинізмів у пласт торговельно-економічної лексики.The term Latinism is researched and analyzed in the article.Transliterated and transformative borrowings of lexicosemantical group of trade-economical lexicon are determined. While researching was found out the composition and the sources of metrical units, analyzed conformity of interior organization, researched system relation, ascertained specificity of evolution and functioning of lexical system as linguistic unit.The extralinguistic and intralinguistic factors, which influenced on the formation of the borrowing units are defined.The associative fields of the Latinism were obtained during the conducting of the free associative experiment are analyzed. The many-sided consideration of the terminological material has allowed to find out regularities of formation of the Latin borrowing in the Ukrainian language. The complex analysis of the Latin borrowing gives a clear explanation of system organization between the different types of lexical units. In addition, specific features and ways of borrowings are determined. Role of the mediator languages is defined.
