Дана публікація також містить історію створення ISO і визначає функції цього стандарту. У статті подається інформація про причини впровадження стандартів серії ISO організаціями.The article deals with definitions, principles and scope of application of international standards of series ISO. International experience suggests that an important prerequisite to improve the quality. ISO Standards outline the requirements to be met by the quality management system. Today, the ISO 120 consists of its national standard organizations. International Standards ISO does not have the status of binding for all member countries. International experience suggests that one of the most effective mechanisms to improve the quality of public authorities in terms of consumer needs is to implement in their work standards and procedures that lead management system in the public sector to the uniform with the business sector. This publication also contains a history of the ISO determines the features of the standard.
