Виділено основні підходи та найбільш відомих дослідників зазначеного напряму. Конкретизовано внесок кожного науковця у розвиток еволюційної теорії та виділено основні теоретичні концепти. Запропоновано використання основних положень еволюційної теорії для пояснення взаємодії між окремими підприємствами та між підприємствами і суб’єктами їхнього зовнішнього середовища.The aim of the paper is specification of the most wellknown provisions of evolutionary economics to explain the nature and processes of interaction of the environment and the population business entities. The genesis of evolution theory is researched. The ability of such theory usage to analyze the processes of interaction between environmental agents on macro and micro level is considered. The main approaches and the most known savants of evolution theory are distinguished. The contribution of every savant to the development of evolution theory is concretized.
