Зазначено, що проповідницькі тексти письменників могилянської доби творилися із врахуванням естетики бароко: рясніють різноманітними художніми засобами, стилістичними фігурами, відзначаються поєднанням висловлювань античної літератури з церковною тощо.The main objective of this paper is to identify factors influencing the preaching of the first half of XVIIth century. The object of the study is preaching prose Mohyla epoch. Subject of research – fellowship, education, typography and baroque aesthetics as factors of formation and distribution of prose genres preaching first half of XVIIth century. It is noted that Ukrainian prose preaching first half of XVII century in the context of aesthetic reconstruction priorities of his age is a significant part of Ukrainian patristic aesthetic paradigm. It reflected socio-cultural development of Ukraine contemporary, spiritual, religious, socio-cultural life of the people. It is a epoch of important reforms of religious life, the emergence of new cultural and literary initiatives of different religious denominations beginning of a new era – baroque. Development preaching prose of the time associated with the activities of fraternities organized by their schools, with the active work of typographer.
