In the article, we emphasize the need to form, first of all, aesthetic values of students through the formation of aes-thetic culture, which is a component of professional training, tolerance, spiritual values of the personality. The aesthetic culture of future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature consists of a wide range of professional competencies and their wide creative use in the pedagogical process through the modern learning technologies, various forms of interaction between participants in the pedagogical process.Одним із важливих завдань сучасної освіти є формування всебічно розвиненої особистості, яка би зберігала свою самобутність у будь-якому культурному середовищі і водночас відчувала причетність до світової культури. У статті робимо наголос на необхідності засвоєння студентами, у першу чергу, естетичних цінностей через формування естетичної культури, яка є складовою професійної підготовки, толерантності, духовності особистості.
