Розроблена методика та скрипти для обробки сканованих зображень зразків тканини в середовищі Rhinoceros, які дозволяють визначити параметри шорсткості у напівавтоматичному режимі.This work proves the possibility to use the fabrics roughness to evaluate its smoothness. Two parameters (Ra, Rmax) were used to reflect fabric surface roughness characteristics. Special script “Roughness” was written to measure these parameters. The script and scanned images of tissue samples were used in 3D computer graphics software Rhinoceros to evaluate the lining fabrics’ roughness. Sampling length was determined according to the results of scripts’ work and standard requirements. In accordance with it the sample dimensions were recommended. Developed method and script were tested by comparing the results of measurements with the roughness parameters which were obtained by photogrammetry. The multiple linear regression was used to modelling the relationship between Roughness parameters (Ra, Rmax) and the coefficient of friction.
