На основі виділених особливостей інноваційного розвитку надано авторське визначення поняття стосовно підприємницького рівня управління.The aim of article – to analyze genesis of theories of innovations and its influence on concept of innovation development. Directions of transformation of concept of innovation development, which acquired new facets in the course of formation of basic theories of innovations, that began in the second half of the nineteenth century – the first half of the twentieth century were analyzed. The results of research of theories of innovation allowed identifying features of concept of innovation development. Views of contemporary scientists on the concept of innovation development are examined. Author's definition of concept of innovation development regarding business management level was given on the basis of its definite features.
