Thus, direct declaration is phatic and informative at the same time. It has indirect relation to the main communicative aim – satisfaction of the need for communication. Harmonious speech genres –wedding, presentation, report, and disharmonious-ultimatum, declaration of the war are indirect with respect to their main communicative aim. Indirect means are used in order to ease a tone, to underline a benevolent attitude to the interlocutor, to avoid a conflict situation. The indirection in general has been studied chiefly in regard to the informative speech. In our opinion, this investigation may be expanded including the analysis of phatic speech. And this problem requires a separate treatment.Phatic communication known to contribute much to every aspect of social pure life is pure communication.
