The necessity of improving the content of professional training of future
engineer-teachers of the sewing profile for designing competence is highlighted. The
necessity of restructuring the content of vocational training on the basis of the graph-
analytical method is indicated. The content of teaching in the form of a hierarchical
structure of abilities at different levels is presented.
