The article presents the development of the concept of operation of the expert system prototype for the selection of clothes according to the consumer’s wishes on the basis of the methodology of Kansei engineering in the shell ‘Rapana’, which ensures the dialogue in the form of successive questions of the system and the user's responses to express consumer’s impressions about the design elements of the garment.
