    Potentiometric (pH-Metric) Methods of Studying Acid-Base Properties on the Surface of Dispersed Materials

    The article presents potentiometric (pH-metric) methods that are used to study the acidbase properties of the surface of dispersed materials of different chemical nature. It is shown that the surface of any solid body has a surface hydroxyl-hydrate layer with a set of active adsorption centers (ACA) of different chemical structure and a wide range of acid-base properties. It has been proven that potentiometric (pH-metric) methods of studying dispersed materials in suspensions allow obtaining the most complete information about surface acid-base properties.

    Research on light resistance of the chenille cotton fabrics’coloring

    Colour fastness is one of the important characteristics, which depends on the further effective and rational use of the potential fabric resource, durability, wear resistance, and the level of competitiveness in the market. Therefore, evaluating the light fastness of colours of cotton fabrics, in the wear of which sunlight plays a major role, is an urgent scientific task. Chenille cotton fabric, which is currently in demand by textile decorators and modern interior decoration, was chosen for the research. The research was carried out using methods of visual and instrumental colorimetry. The conducted research is valuable for providing information to the market and for further analysis and implementation of the process of developing a system technology for designing chenille cotton fabrics.

    В роботі наведено результати досліджень меблево – декоративних тканин для сучасного інтер'єру. Розглянуто різні види меблево – декоративних тканин. Дано аналіз споживчих властивостей, які залежать від хімічного складу та структури формування тканин, способів і технологій виробництва, захисних методів обробки. Досліджено питання необхідності створення та впорядкування класифікації меблево – декоративних тканин. Запропонована класифікація меблево – декоративних тканин, яка побудована на застосуванні ієрархічного методу, що дозволило відобразити високу інформативність, ємність та логічну послідовність.
