In this regard, focusing on short-term development programs, the absence or wrongly chosen strategy leads only to the localization of losses and to a decrease in the efficiency of enterprises in the long term. In turn, this necessitates the implementation of strategic management, which provides an opportunity for enterprises to ensure economic growth and get out of a crisis state. The article presents developments in the field of strategic management, highlights methodological problems of strategizing. Theoretical approaches to the formation of enterprise strategies are considered. It was established that the process of strategic management in Ukraine requires the use of modern technologies and tools. That is why there is a need to deepen research into the theoretical and methodological foundations of strategic management at all levels. The necessity of using the strategizing system as a tool for mobilizing internal reserves, taking into account external factors, forming and implementing strategies, promoting the development of the enterprise in the long term, is substantiated. By considering the stages of the process and strategizing tools, it is possible to conclude that the chosen strategy meets the goals, opportunities, and requirements of the enterprise's external environment. To characterize the real (initial) strategic processes taking place at enterprises, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of different types of enterprises, their branch affiliation and competitive status. The initial strategic processes determine the individuality of the strategic choice of business processes for their further optimization, and the criteria for their selection are formed. Timely detection of problems and implementation of measures to adjust the process or content of strategy implementation, review of goals, is impossible without the use of strategic control, the key element of which is the system of indicators. This system should contain indicators that are control points for evaluating the effectiveness of strategy implementation at each stage. Conscious strategic management allows the management of the enterprise to respond constructively to changes in its economic activity, to identify new opportunities and negative trends; evaluate alternative prospects for development in the future. The classification of scientific schools of strategy formation, which are based on different ideas about the determinants of strategic management, is presented. Each enterprise has its own configuration of initial strategic processes. Scientists have developed a wide range of enterprise management strategies. Enterprise management strategies are characterized by a constant focus on development, the desire to predict the future, and the direction to increase the efficiency of the enterprise. The article justifies the necessity of using a system of strategies. Theoretical approaches to development methodology, formation of a system of strategies for achieving enterprise goals are considered. It has been established that the economic strategy plays the most important role in combining individual elements of the general strategy of the enterprise. It is the main prerequisite for maintaining a high level of efficiency of the enterprise and its competitiveness. The process of forming an economic strategy includes interrelated stages: assessment of the current financial state of the enterprise and existing economic strategy; formation of a set of possible economic strategies; direct selection of an economic strategy using a comparative analysis based on certain principles and criteria. Саме такі галузі як: мілітарі-тек, металургія, гірнича промисловість та машинобудування, сільське господарство, харчова промисловість, ІТгалузь, здатні забезпечити у майбутньому умови для зростанняобсягів ВВП та стабілізації фінансово-економічної ситуації в країні. Це є запорукою фінансово-економічної безпеки національного рівня та повинно бути орієнтиром для прийняття відповідних управлінських рішень керівництвом найвищого рівня. Доведено, що металургія, гірнича промисловість та машинобудування традиційно перебувають під впливом фінансово-промислових груп, а фінансові потоки у межах таких сфер доволі сильно залежать від кон’юнктури ринків та бачення менеджменту компаній щодо легального відображення стану речей. У інших сферах рівень тінізації бізнесу також доволі високий. Про це свідчать результати оцінки впливу факторів, що стримують промислове виробництво. Навіть до війни на національному рівні не відбулося формування позитивного бізнес середовища та стрімкого зростання інвестиційних потоків у вітчизняні галузі промисловості. Доведено, що фінансово-економічна безпека держави залежить, в першу чергу, від політичної волі вищого менеджменту та дотримання законодавства всіма учасниками соціально-економічних систем, що у підсумку призводить до поступової детінізації функціонування переважної більшості галузей та економіки в цілому
