Анотація
У статті досліджено сутність основних понять теорії життєвого циклу організації (ЖЦО) та узагальнено підходи до
їх розуміння. Розглянуто хронологію розвитку теорії ЖЦО. Критично проаналізовано основні моделі ЖЦО. Систематизовано
особливості та характерні риси основних стадій ЖЦО. Досліджено методи та підходи до визначення стадій ЖЦО, означено
недоліки. Обґрунтовано необхідність розробки агрегованого підходу до оцінювання стадій ЖЦО.
The main discussion issues in the study of organization lifecycle theories were outlined as a method of diagnosing their state and defining the opportunities of their use to improve the quality of management. Investigated the essence of the basic concepts of the theory of organizational life cycle (OLC) and generalizes approaches to its understanding. Consistent patterns and main tendencies of cyclic development of organizations, features of their state at stages of their life cycle were determined. It is proved that the quality and efficiency of organization management requires from the management side the knowledge of the enterprise location on the life cycle curve. There was investigated the chronology of the development of the OLC theory. The main models of OLC were critically analyzed. Conclusions have been drawn about the existence of conflicting views on the organizations development, the number of stages that OLC, their main variables and structural characteristics. The features and characteristics of the main stages of the OLC were systematized. Qualitative and quantitative approaches and methods for the diagnosis of stages of OLC have been explored. It was concluded that the available methods and approaches to assessing the life cycle stage of an enterprise are either too simplistic or subjective. Further prospects for the study are to develop an aggregate approach to assessing the stages of OLC.
