Анотація
Прізвища мають безпосередній зв‘язок з культурою, побутом, історією народу, вони є своєрідними для соціальних груп та прошарків, тому їхня внутрішня форма вмотивовується відповідними твірними основами. Відапелятивні прізвища досліджуваного регіону відбивають різні аспекти життя людини і довкілля – побут, заняття, фізичні та психічні ознаки, тваринний і рослинний світ, соціальну організацію тощо.
Surnames appeared in the language of our nation in different periods, and has a direct relationship with its culture, life, history. They are particularly designed for social groups and strata of the society because their internal form is based on the correspinding word formation stems. Therefore, lexical and semantic analysis of the surnames of the residents of Nova Ushytsia district, Khmelnitsky region is an important basis for the development of language, history and ethnography. Nonappelative surnames of the studied region reflect different aspects of human life and the surrounding reality – life, engagement, physical and mental characteristics, flora and fauna, social organization and so on. The main attention is paid to the semantics of word froming stems of the nonappelative units, which makes it possible to understand the specification of antroponimic system of the studied area.
