Анотація
Розглядаються головні питання, що стали предметом осмислення в
політичній думці ранньомодерної України, стосувалися існування людини і
виявів її діяльності в контексті культурно–історичних та релігійних процесів
другої половини XVI–XVII ст., осмислення ролі церкви в українському житті,
формування української ідентичності і національної самосвідомості, проблем
українського державотворення.
Можна стверджувати, що процес існування домодерної України і
творення модерної української нації відбувався синхронно з аналогічними
процесами у Західній Європі. Церковні рухи та козацькі війни кінця XVI–
XVII ст. є українською аналогією загальноєвропейського процесу виникнення
нової форми колективної ідентичності – національної свідомості.
Встановлено, що в час, коли європейці творили цілком модерні концепції
історії та суспільного розвитку, українці визначали свою ідентичність,
культуру і самосвідомість, виходячи з норм східнослов’янської православної
духовності й візантійської спадщини.
The article deals with the main issues that became the subject of comprehension in the political thought of early modern Ukraine, related to the existence of man and the manifestations of his activity in the context of the cultural–historical and religious processes of the second half of the XVI–XVII centuries Understanding the role of the church in Ukrainian life, the formation of Ukrainian identity and national self–consciousness, problems of Ukrainian state–building. It can be argued that the process of the existence of premodern Ukraine and the creation of a modern Ukrainian nation was synchronous with similar processes in Western Europe. Church movements and Cossack wars of the late XVI–XVII centuries is a Ukrainian analogy of the pan–European process of the emergence of a new form of collective identity – national consciousness. It was established that at a time when Europeans created completely modern concepts of history and social development, Ukrainians determined their identity, culture and self–consciousness, based on the norms of Eastern Slavic Orthodox spirituality and the byzantine heritage
