В статті розглянуто проблеми стилеутворення в дизайні одягу ХХ–ХХІ ст. Проведено аналіз останніх
досліджень і публікацій щодо особливостей стилеутворення. Окреслено актуальні напрямки нових досліджень.
Abstract The aim of research is identify the problems of create of style in fashion design. Established that there are difficulties associated with the exchange of information between specialists garment industry because some terms have multiple meanings. An analysis of the literature found that informational and symbolic system of the fashion clothes is unexplored. Phenomena of kitsch and eclecticism are an integral part of formation of new styles, but these phenomena haven`t been thoroughly studied. Researches of the impact of innovative technologies, political and economic life on the process of creating style are incomplete. It was established that the theory of cyclical fashion that was previously used to predict the formation of new styles does not meet the needs of today's professionals. Thus, the necessity to concretization certain terms in fashion design and classification of modern styles and silhouettes with the definition of basic and derived elements, major and minor features was detected. Researches of phenomena of eclectics and kitsch are topical. Process of formation of styles advisable consider with using of synergetic.
