In the article the features of the use of benchmarking are considered in the system of providing of financial safety of enterprise. To research of the scientific going near determination of concept “benchmarking». Own determination of concept “benchmarking” offers: it is the instrument of providing of financial safety of enterprise, based on a systematic, continuous search, study and adaptation to the own terms of the best methods of entrepreneurial activity, by means of what efficiency of activity of enterprise rises in the conditions of influence of risks of internal and external environment. The component managements of enterprise are considered financial safety.
