Проаналізовано досвід врегулювання мовного простору українських міст на рівні місцевого самоврядування та спроектовано його на реалії міста хмельницького. Підкреслено ефективність україноцентричної мовної політики у сфері благоустрою західноукраїнських міст.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to studying of the linguistic landscape of the city. Paying attention to the language situation in ukraine,legal regulation, which provides linguistic environmental space of ukrainian cities is urgent. The purpose of the article is to analyze the experience of language regulation in ukrainian cities at the local council’s level and design it to the realities of khmelnitskyi city. The object of the study is linguistic landscape of the city, the subject is normative decisions of municipal councils on regulating the functions of the ukrainian language in advertising and services. It is noted that in khmelnitskyi there is a need to further enhance purposeful work to ensure the proper use of the state language in various spheres of life: education, culture, advertising, media and more. The effectiveness of proper language policy in the accomplishment of western cities (lviv, ternopil, chernivtsi, etc.) is underlined. The proportions in the use of state and other languages are figured out. It is said that studies of the dynamics of different languages functioning in the speech of khmelnytskyi landscape are separate scientific tasks, implementation of which will be realized in the next research.uk_UA
