dc.descriptionThe low level of the social protection system in Ukraine is an urgent and very important problem of today, which creates the prerequisites for finding new effective directions for reforming and modernizing social insurance in our country. Approaching European standards of living is a priority in Ukraine in the context of the European integration course of its state policy. This article examines the current state of development of the compulsory social security system. The main obstacles to the development of social insurance in Ukraine are highlighted, namely: the presence of a high level of differentiation of population incomes in different sectors of the economy; the existence of large-scale shadow labor markets; outdated social security regulatory framework. The prospects for the development of the compulsory state social insurance system in the country are determined. Conclusions have been made about the need to establish an effective model of social development in Ukraine, which would be based on increasing the solvency of the population and, consequently, reducing the burden on the budget. The directions of modernization of the model of social insurance of the population in Ukraine, taking into account market conditions and world tendencies of development are singled out. The principles of modernization of the social insurance system and its directions are highlighted. It is substantiated that the modernization of the social insurance system in Ukraine should be carried out by finding the optimal balance between the economic efficiency and social orientation of this system. The system of state insurance funds should maximally compensate the insured persons for losses related to the occurrence of insured events with a minimum load on payment of insurance fees for all market economy entities. Realization of reasonable directions of modernization, will help to turn social insurance into one powerful macroeconomic mechanism of development and regulation of processes occurring in the social environment, and will make a significant contribution - will provide social protection of citizens of Ukraine and reduce the burden on permanently unprofitable social sphere.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractУ даній статті вивчено сучасний стану розвитку системи загальнообов’язкового соціального страхування населення. Виокремлено основні перешкоди розвитку соціального страхування в Україні, а саме: наявність високого рівня диференціації доходів населення у різних секторах економіки; існування великих масштабів тіньового ринку праці; застаріла нормативно-правова база соціального страхування. Визначено перспективи розвитку системи загальнообов’язкового державного соціального страхування в країні. Зроблено висновки щодо необхідності становлення в Україні ефективної моделі соціального розвитку, яка б ґрунтувалася на підвищенні платоспроможності населення, а отже, зниження навантаження на бюджет високих. Виокремлено напрями модернізації моделі соціального страхування населення в Україні, з урахуванням ринкових умов і світових тенденцій розвитку.uk_UA
