dc.description.abstractThis article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the standard model of elementary particles, which underlies the modern quantum picture of the world. It is shown that facts that do not fit into the standard model continue to accumulate recently. These include divergences, contradictions that arise between the standard model and the general theory of relativity in the high-energy region and the impossibility associated with them to create a unified field theory, some cosmological problems, etc.uk_UA
