З’ясовано, що для успішної реалізації свого творчого потенціалу, втілення у практику діяльності набутих професійних знань, умінь і навичок, сучасний фахівець повинен володіти певними лідерськими якостями. dc.description.abstractThe analysis of scientific-methodical and special economic literature on the subject of research was made by the author. In particular the author analyses the development of leadership qualities of management personnel. It was revealed that for successful realization of creative potential, implementation of acquired professional knowledge, skills and abilities into the practice, a modern specialist should has certain leadership qualities. The concept of "development of leadership qualities" in the context of our study is defined by us as a "process, which results in a change of one or another characteristic features, properties (their transition from one qualitative state to another higher one) of person or group of persons, which are at the head of the organization (social, sports, professional, etc.); such leaders are the first in any competition or professional activity and they are leading others". The main leadership qualities of a specialist were revealed. For example communicative, persuasive, tactful, diplomatic, flexible, organizational skills; purposefulness, persistence, determination, self-confidence, demandingness, self-control, motivation for leadership and success; creativity, ability to predict and generalize, critique, prudence; activity, initiative, reliability, responsibility, optimism, patriotism, self-improvement. Specific features and requirements of professional activity determine the need for purposeful formation of leadership qualities by the specialists. Successful formation of leadership qualities of an individual is one of the most effective ways of preparing initiative, independent, responsible specialists who are capable for effective management activity in qualitatively new conditions of social development.uk_UA
