dc.description.abstractIssues related to the evaluation of the efficiency of innovation development of the Odessa region are considered. It is shown that the analysis of innovation activity indicators and evaluation of its efficiency contributes to the presentation not only of the state of affairs in this area, but the level of entrepreneurial activity, but also on the implementation of the planned tasks of socio-economic, in particular, innovative, development both at the regional and national levels. Creating an effective infrastructure for supporting science and innovation is an essential part of state policy aimed at ensuring strategic national priorities. In the paper effectiveness is interpreted as a quantitative expression of the effectiveness of innovation and the cost of its implementation using a system of indicators. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the innovative activity of the enterprise is treated as a management function, aimed at studying the state, development trends, objective assessment of the results of innovation activities. It is established that the Odessa region takes the place in the first ten for a number of indicators, which is a positive phenomenon. On the other hand, the analysis of indicators of innovative development of the Odessa region has shown that for the overwhelming majority there is a negative tendency for their change. Several models of calculation of performance indicators are considered. The statistical data of Odessa Region for 2012-2015 were the information base. Based on the results of calculations, it was found that the level of efficiency of innovation activity of enterprises of the region is rather low and decreases with each passing year. The results of the evaluation can be used to make changes to the programme's documents for the implementation of the Strategy for the development of the Odessa region for subsequent years.uk_UA
