Current development of market relations and economy transformations have caused many issues concerning the market conditions, external environment factors and features of cooperation with foreign trade partners on the level of enterprise’s production activity. Important part of these views should be the well thought-out use of methods and approaches of economic theory and their practical significance in planning export activities under the influences of WTO membership and the rules of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) between Ukraine and The
European Union (EU).

Generalized table of methodological approaches which underlies the method of economic development theory and gives the possibility to characterize the features of enterprise’s export orientation planning and its adaptation under the influence of external environment conditions is presented.
