dc.description.abstractДана стаття присвячена дослідженню та проведенню аналізу рівня смертності в Україні. На основі отриманих результатів дослідження та проведеного аналізу було встановлено тенденцію та динаміку показників, що визначають даний рівень за 1992–2016 рр. Для проведення аналізу були взяті показники кількості померлих за статтю, типом поселення та причинами смертей. Окрім цього, було проаналізовано та встановлено закономірність та динаміку такого основного індикатору рівня смертності в Україні, як дитяча смертність до 1 року. В результаті було отримано важливу інформацію та характеристику демографічних процесів та ризиків з точки зору природного приросту населення в країні. Автор статті приходить до висновку, що вчасне регулювання зі сторони органів влади та прийняття відповідних мір щодо даного питання зможе покращити ситуацію, яка за відсутності позитивних змін загрожує економічній стабільності та державній безпеці країни.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to the analysis of death rate level in Ukraine. Based on obtained results of the analysis the trend and dynamics of indicators that determine this level during 1992-2016 has been indicated. Indicators that have been taken for the basis of the analysis are the death rate by gender, type of settlement and causes of death. The pattern and dynamics of such a basic indicator of mortality rate as infant mortality rate of children up to 1-st year have been analyzed and established. In Ukraine as a whole, and in the vast majority of regions, the number of deaths prevails over the number of births. The main factor that causes a decrease of the population of Ukraine is the slow growth rate of its reproduction, which is characterized by hard tendencies of depopulation (mortality rate exceeds birth rate), the fact is that it does not even ensure a simple replacement of generations. The analysis of statistical data shows that the birth rate is steadily decreasing, despite the tendency to reduce the mortality rate of infants. As a result, important information and characteristics of demographic processes and risks from the point of view of natural population growth in the country were obtained. The author of the article concludes that timely regulations by the authorities and the adoption of appropriate measures on this issue will improve the situation which, in the absence of positive changes, can threaten economic stability and moreover even national security of our country.uk_UA
