dc.description.abstractAt the current stage socialization of market economy around the world is uneven. The existence of social problems associated with the lack of economic development or backwardness of the economy, which is far below the world average level of efficiency. Problems of social protection remain unsolved, despite significant economic development, scientific and technological progress, the spread of democracy and social progress in all continents. In the article considered features of social policy in the European Union and ways to improve social standards in Ukraine. The primary means of forming effective social policy is GDP growth and improvement of the allocation mechanism, improving the competitiveness of the economy. In our country, the existence of poverty is associated with low-income population as a whole. In our country, the existence of poverty is associated with low-income population as a whole. Therefore, its solution involves a gradual increase in the index of human development indicators of social development, dynamic social development, strengthening social protection system, harmonization of social standards to the international level. The implementation of these tasks is impossible without economic growth, rising living standards of all sections of the population, and especially employees. So, having considered the features of social policy abroad should be phased creates and implements socially-oriented balanced and long-term labor market policy in Ukraine.uk_UA
