У статті аналізується збірник проповідей «Євангеліє Учительне» Петра Могили, наголошується на
його важливості для українського письменства І половини XVII ст., вказано на особливості побудови тексту,
його художню цінність.
The article analyzes the collection of sermons «Evanglie Uchytylne»Petro Mohyla, emphasizes its importance for Ukrainian literature first half of XVIIth century, indicated on the features of the text, its artistic value. In the first half XVIIth century in Ukraine actively distributed collections of sermons system. They contain dogmatic guidelines for religious practice. «Evanglie Uchytylne» - a collection of sermons on the Gospel reading on different days Sundays and holidays. Their authors / compilers were Kyrylо Trakvilion-Stavrovetskyi and Petro Mohyla. In the first - it was original sermon at the Metropolitan - the exact translation of conversations Calista. Collection «Evanglie Uchytylne»Petro Mohyla is an accurate translation of a collection of Calista and written by the saint are only the preface. A preface reveals the author's intention, the other is an appeal to readers. These introductory articles can be considered independent sermons intended for clergy and monks. Preface consists of two parts. In the first part it appears the word "priest" determination of his rights and obligations. In the second filed Petro Mohyla reveals the essence of the genre sermon. Preface to the collection serves as a kind of guide for the clergy, which are given instructions, tips for priests. It has an educational function. Petro Mohyla Collection closest to the Greek original, save the form and content of sermons. Interpretation of the Gospel texts in unison with the generally accepted rules of the Orthodox faith.
