Анотація
У статті проаналізовано стан опрацювання проблеми мовної основи українсько-білоруських писемних пам’яток XIV–XVII ст. Історія вивчення східнослов’янських середньовічних текстів у славістиці охоплює чималий проміжок часу. Дослідники висловлюють думку про існування у XIV–XVII ст. спільної для предків українців і білорусів писемно-літературної мови. Розбіжність у їхніх поглядах полягає у визначенні її діалектної основи, українського чи білоруського підґрунтя. Детальний і виважений аналіз мовних особливостей світських документів XIV–XVII ст. з урахуванням територіального принципу, графічних і палеографічних особливостей текстів, із визначенням їх функціональної ролі, із застосуванням нових методів дослідження дасть підстави зробити обґрунтовані висновки про основу літературної мови того часу.
Problem condition of language basis of Ukrainian and Belarusian written memorials of XIV–XVII century elaboration was analyzed in the article. History of studying of Eastern Slavonic medieval texts in Slavistic overcomes rather long period of time. Investigations suggest the existence of common written and literary language for both Ukrainian and Belarusian ancestors in XIV–XVII century. Difference in their opinions is in the definition of its dialectical basis. Detailed and reasonable analysis of language peculiarities of documents of XIV–XVII century with the consideration of territorial principal, graphical and paleographical texts peculiarities, with the definition their functional role and the application of new methods of investigation will give the basis to make substantiated conclusions about the ground of literary language of that time.
