dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to study the theoretical and practical issues of state retail Khmelnytskyi region of Ukraine, as well as identifying strategic directions of its development. Development of retail Khmelnytskyi region is a complex and dynamic process that occurs in a transformation of the national economy and changes under the influence of factors of economic, legal and social issues. Dynamics of retail trade of area indicates the dependence of trading adverse factors of the environment. The main type of Khmelnytskyi retail trade is store . The main problem is the imbalance in the distribution of trade, particularly in the context of "city village". Retail trade of Khmelnytskyi region in a state of quantitative and qualitative transformations. The general trend is related to the decrease in the number of shops and a simultaneous increase in their sales area and turnover Further improvements must be aimed at addressing the lack of modern format retail space in the countrysideuk_UA
