Анотація
У статті грунтовно проаналізовано шляхи удосконалення сучасної системи освіти на основі компетентнісного підходу, розглянуто зміст понять "Компетенція" І "компетентність", які активно досліджуються провідними вітчизняними та зарубіжними науковцями.
In the article the ways of improvement of the modern system of education on the base of competence approach have been thoroughly analyzed. The contents of the concepts "competence" and "competency", which are actively investigated by the leading domestic and foreign scientists has been considered. The aim of this work is to carry out a comparative analysis of the concepts "competence" and "competency" of the future philologist in the modern theory of education. The object of the study is the concepts "competence" and "competency". The "competency" of the future philologist is interpreted as: the ability to apply knowledge and skills; ability to undertake the activities competently; ability to meet individual and social needs successfully. The definitions of key competences of educators in different countries have been examined. The analysis of correlation of concepts "competence" and "competence", which according to different points of view, may be identified, or subordinated, has been done. It has been defined, the competencies are standards of experience, knowledge, skills, creativity, emotional value and the level of achievement of these competencies. The opinions about components of competence have been expressed.
