dc.description.abstractThe article makes an attempt to psychological analysis of the problem of becoming a professional maturity of the individual. The emphasis is on specialists in the social sphere. On the basis of empirical data, the essence of the concept of «professional maturity», the specificity of genesis, structure is revealed. The preconditions for the formation of the professional maturity of the specialist at the stage of formation in the conditions of the university are discussed. The study of the phenomenon «professional maturity of a specialist in the social direction» has confirmed the scientific-theoretical and practical significance of the research topic as the most important problem of resolving contradictions in the professional training of specialists in the sphere of social direction. The conducted research allowed to substantiate the conclusion that the concept of formation of professional maturity, implemented in a specially organized psychological and educational educational process, provides a real opportunity to obtain the projected result, presented in the concept in the form of «model of personality», «image of a specialist», the image of a citizen «which successfully implements oneself in professional activity and society». The prospects of further solving the problems stated in the work, adding the process of forming components of professional maturity of specialists of the social direction of purposeful systematic character, based on the idea of an educational environment of a developing type, in which there should be a change of priorities (from the didactic components to the psychological).uk_UA
