Стаття присвячена проблемі компетентнісного підходу під час професійної підготовки студентів-екологів
Розглядаються сутність та структура професійної компетентності студентів-екологів, шляхи реалізації компетентнісного підходу під час професійної підготовки студентів-екологів завдяки використанню інноваційних методів навчання.
Статья посвящена проблеме компетентносного подхода во время практической подготовки студентов-экологов. Рассматриваются сущность и структура профессиональной компетентности студентов-экологов, пути реализации компетентносного подхода во время практической подготовки студентов-экологов благодаря использованию инновационных методов обучения.
The article deals with the competence-based approach in the training of students in ecology. The problem of the future professional training on the basis of the competence-based approach as the most effective one to educational process, that provides training in accordance with the modern society requirements, is investigated. The essence and structure of the professional competence of students in ecology are specified. The professional competence is defined as an integral specialist’s individual characteristic that reflects the level of professional knowledge, skills and experience that are sufficient for the performance of official functions. The structure of professional competence of the experts in ecology includes professional employee characteristics (professional knowledge, skills and habits as an activity experience); social, communicative and individual qualities that provide independent professional activity. Along with well-known traditional approaches to the educational process in the training of future ecologists it is proposed to use innovative teaching methods. An environmental project method is considered to be one of the most effective ways to implement competency approach in the training of students in ecology as it is the way of formation of the key students’ competencies. It is indicated that the project is a specially organized by a teacher and individually accomplished by a student set of actions that results in the creation of a product that consists of an object of work made in the design process and its oral or written presentation. An essential value of implementing of the “active learning methods” in realization of a competence approach in the ecologists’ education is proved – didactic and business games: the characteristics of the individual (simulation exercises, analysis of specific situations, etc.) and collective (interactive) (playing the role, game design, educational business games ) methods are presented. It is proved that the implementation of competence-based approach in the higher education institutions contributes to formation of future environmental experts an experience in solving social, environmental and professional problems, improvement of the profession education quality.
