dc.description.abstractThe aim of the research – to analysis theoretical approaches to the definition of “financial results”. A critical assessment of definitions of the category "financial results" indicates the presence of contradictions among the representatives of different schools when determining financial results, which requires further study. The authors analyze alternative approaches to the definition of "financial results" and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the existing definitions of this category, on the basis of which conclusions are drawn. The results of the study provide an opportunity to determine the content of financial results as a comparison of the income of a business entity with its expenses in a particular period and show perspectives for further research on this issue.uk_UA
