Стаття присвячена проблемі розкриття психологічного змісту основних понять гуманної педагогіки. Метою статті є розкриття психологічного змісту і з’ясування співвідношення понять «гуманна людина» і «благородна людина». З’ясовано, що благородна людина – це людина, яка здатна свідомо будувати своє життя за законами загальнолюдської етики і загального блага. Гуманна людина – це людина, яка прагне розкрити та пізнати в собі і в інших безсмертну духовну сутність, а також здатна підпорядкувати власні особисті інтереси та потреби вищим духовним. Поняття «благородна людина» і «гуманна людина» є подібними за своїм сутнісним значенням. Благородна людина є водночас і гуманною: гуманність як пошук і відчуття у собі та інших вищого духовного начала породжує благородність душі, а благородність як дієве прагнення до загального блага робить людину гуманною у стосунках із собою та іншими.
The article is devoted to the problem of revealing the psychological content of the basic concepts of humane pedagogics. The purpose of the article is to reveal the psychological content and clarify the relationship between the concepts of “humane person” and “generous person”. To achieve this goal we used such theoretical methods: semantic-etymological analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization. It was founded that a generous person is a person who is able to consciously build his life according to the laws of universal ethics and the common good. A humane person is a person who wants to reveal and know in himor herself and in others the immortal spiritual essence. He or she is able to subordinate his or her own personal interests to the highest spiritual needs. The concepts of “generous person” and “humane person” are similar by their essential meaning. A generous person is a humane person simultaneous. Humanity as a search and feeling in oneself and in other people a higher spiritual principle causes the generosity of the soul. The generosity as an active intention for the common good makes a person humane in relations with him- or herself and others. The concepts of «generosity» and «humanity» is complementary to each other, they reflect two psychological aspects of human life. The humanity is the attitude of person to him- or herself and others, on the basis of the common good. The generosity is an activity-behavioral realization of person's humane attitude to him- or herself and others, and it is a manifestation of humane attitude in activities and communication.
