dc.description.abstractThe article presents current approaches to the definition of "problem credits". The dynamics of the problem loans of Ukrainian banks during the period from 2008 to 2017 and tendencies of their changes were analyzed. The large share of problem loans has led to the need to develop of a system for managing problem credits. In the article existing approaches to the management of problem loans are defined and their analyzed. On the base of these approaches, the conclusion was made that when working with problem loans banks can use two main methods of management – rehabilitation and liquidation, these methods are the part of internal bank methods. External methods are used in case of inefficiency of internal bank management. The method is selected individually and is an important stage of the system of management problem loans.uk_UA
