dc.description.abstractIn the article there are analyzed compositional techniques of arrangement of parts of artistic and documentary material, elements and images in time sequence. It has been proved that the location of individual parts of the text in the memoir affects the aesthetic perception of the whole, the ratio of the image system. One of the compositional techniques is a repetition as a kind of coincidence between the beginning and the end of memories, the selection of homogeneous images, details, opposition. It has been found out that the continuous composition organizes the entire artistic form of the nonfiction work and acts on all levels. All the components of the artistic structure (facts, their location, character and method of narration) are important not only from a historical point of view, but also literary, for skillfully written memoirs contribute to the study of the reflection of the aesthetic category (the embodiment of the author’s plan, his presentation of thoughts on paper) by writer who selected the material, artistically worked out and presented it to the readers according to the formed world outlook, intentional ideas, intentional essence of consciousness, world outlook.uk_UA
