Анотація
Information technology has significantly expanded the capabilities of mathematical modelling, making it accessible in various industries. Modern computing systems can process huge amounts of data in a short period of time, which allows modelling complex systems with a large number of parameters. In particular, SolidWorks Simulation engineering software, based on the finite element method, allows you to simulate mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, and other physical processes.

An example of the application of SolidWorks Simulation can be the study, in which a transmission rack was designed for lifting and moving loads during the assembly and disassembly of components and assemblies from cars. The task of this study is to determine the maximum force that can be applied to the following part of the transmission rack – the nut with an allowable safety factor [n] = 3.
