dc.description.abstractРозглянуто три сучасні популярні типи перекладу текстів художньої літератури. Проаналізовано особливості їхнього застосування стосовно певного жанру тексту та авторського ідіостилю. Проведено стислий аналіз наявних перекладів творів трьох різних письменників. Т. Еліот перекладений з використанням ситуативної моделі, Е. Гемінгвей – трансформаційної і Е. По – змішаної. Визначено доцільність використання аналізованих моделей перекладу.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractNational tradition to translate fiction focused on linguistic translation theories, when the starting point of the study was a functional and grammatical. Such a method may leave pragmatic tasks, connotative traits, features of artistic genre and style beyond analysis. Since the second third of the last century, translation theories have been increasingly trying to investigate not only the result of translation but also the translation process and how it affects the goal text. Therefor modern studies can be roughly divided into three types: those who study the cultural aspect, those who study linguistic aspects and those where one of these approaches prevails, and the other serves as ancillary. The first type of research may be exemplified by the work of Paulina Gassior "Conquering the Eastern European Beast". The author deals with the extremely problematic topic of how Western cultures treat the cultures of Central Europe, and how such attitude influences the pragmatics of translation. Mr. Gassior considers the translator's actions in the sense of "domestication" to allow the western reader to see the adequate face of "wild" Eastern European culture and art. The research of G. Encheva "Translational Transformations and Deformations in Artistic Translation" represents the canons of the transformational model. The author states that spoken names in the translation of fiction should be given greater attention, as custom techniques of transcription and transliteration often exacerbate the author's intention. To the combined type of study can be attributed to the work of Henry Whitlesley "Transposition of Form" The American researcher distinguishes three types of translation activity: translation, adaptation and transposition. Transposition model renders pragmatic and, to some extent, aesthetic content of the original into a vivid and quickly understandable formula inherent to digital age. The current state of translatology allows a scientist to choose between one of three models. The analysis of the available artistic translations given in this article shows that the criterion for choosing a particular model is the genre features of the text and the author's idiostyle.uk_UA
