dc.description.abstractНа основі справ Вижвівської актової книги XVII ст. проаналізовано топонімікон середньовічної Вижвівщини. З’ясовано походження власних географічних назв, схарактеризовано структурні риси онімів. Топонімний простір Вижвівщини представляють ойконіми, гідроніми, а також мікротопоніми, серед яких– назви вулиць, доріг, ґрунтів, урочищ, полів тощо.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractArticle is devoted to study of Vyzhva Register of the XVII century, created on the North-Western lands of Ukraine, in Vyzhva city. This is a monument of the official style of the old Ukrainian language, which has received into itself the ancient traditions of business writing and new graphic and orthographic elements, depicted contemporary writing usage and local folk speech. Many linguistic units represent the toponym space of contemporary Vyzhvivshchyna. The purpose of the scientific research is to investigate the toponyms of the medieval Vyzhvivshchyna on the basis of the cases of Vyzhva Register of the XVII century, to find out the origin of proper geographical names, to characterize the structural features of the onyms, to identify the archaic language phenomena in their composition. The book identifies single names of the contemporary cities (Вижва, Хотивъль), which is probably due to the purpose of the monument: cases of local nature, acts of purchase and sale of real estate, property of citizens, cases concerning the last will, donation, exchange were recorded in it. Some of the placenames in the manuscript are qualified as possessions (Бродъки, Подварокъ). In the texts of the book cases, there are names of water objects that border with the described lands, farms, possessions or are included into their composition (Бεрεжницz, Вижва). Partly, on the pages of the register, microtoponyms – the proper names of small local geographical objects and parts of macro objects – are presented. The written monument is extremely rich with the detailed descriptions of the territories, where the real estates were located, often detached with driveways, roads, streets (Борзовска, Ратεнска), names of which are mostly motivated by onyms denoting neighboring settlements, other geographical objects. Appellatives denoting important local communications were used for streets denomination, the shape and length of the street were depicted. Soil names originate mostly from the name of the owner of the certain business entities (Лакотинскии, Рахваловскии).uk_UA
