| dc.description.abstract | The article considers individual aspects in pro¬fessional training of future language teachers based on innovative experience of the UK. The research findings by Ukrainian scholars on gen¬eral aspects in professional training of language teachers at higher education institutions in the UK have been generalized. The development and conceptual framework of English studies at the universities in the UK have been justified. The important components of the Subject Benchmark Statement for English have been presented. The relevant recommendations for the national system of language teachers' professional train¬ing based on positive aspects of the UK expe¬rience have been outlined. This study will focus on individual aspects in professional training of language teachers in the UK in order to outline its positive aspects, which can be efficiently imple¬mented into the national system of teacher train¬ing, in particular professional training of language teachers. The conducted research characterizes the sys¬tem of philologists professional training in the UK. It covers a set of interrelated components such as legislative, normative, managerial, socio¬economic, institutional, target, strategic, per¬sonal, organizational, content and technological, diagnostic and productive, prognostic. The thesis presents the comparative and peda¬gogical analysis of the characteristics of phililo-gists professional training in the UK and Ukraine, outlines the possibilities of using the innovative ideas of the UK experience to justify the pros¬pects of developing a system of philologist profes¬sional training in Ukraine.
