Проведено аналіз основних показників ломбардних установ в Україні, розглянуто основні переваги і недоліки
ломбардного кредитування, визначено напрями покращення їх функціонування. Зроблено висновок, що сучасний
ломбардний ринок не може повністю конкурувати з банками, але вони є ефективним посередником на ринку кредитування
фізичних осіб
Analysis of key indicators pawn-shop institutions in Ukraine, the basic advantages and disadvantages of pawn-shop loans, the directions of improving their functioning. Pawn-shop modern market can not fully compete with banks, but they are an effective intermediary market lending to individuals. Of course the Law of Ukraine "On pawnshops and pawn-shop activity" will create an effective national regulatory system Lombard activities in Ukraine, the necessary legal mechanisms of pawnshops their functions and ensure consumer protection pawn services. Over the last year there is increased competition in the market pawn-shop. This lead to a revision of interest rates on loans or finding new, unused collateral. Despite the emergence of new players in the market, continued high concentration of business compared with the banking and credit union market. In the first hundred pawnshops in terms of lending accounted 96.2 % of total loans. Experts identified the following main pawn-shop society as "Treasury", "alliance", "Universal", "good", "Aldan" and "Ukraine"
