dc.description.abstractУ статті розглядаються випадки тропеїчного вживання власних назв у текстах українських байок. Внаслідок аналізу мовного матеріалу досліджуваних творів можемо констатувати, що власні імена найчастіше трапляються у складі метафор, активно вживаються разом з епітетами, зокрема метафоричними, а також на асоціативному та символічному рівнях широко використовується антитеза. Епізодично зустрічаються й інші стилістичні фігури: літота, перифраз, порівняння. Це зумовлено алегоричністю байки та її спрямованістю.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractIn the article the cases of tropeic usage of proper names in Ukrainian fables are considered. The fables created by Ya. Zharko, M. Shashkevych, P. Pysarevskyi, Olena Pchilka, B. Grinchenko, P. Svyentsitskyi, V. Borovyk, I. Manzhura, I. Verkhratskyi, Yu. Fedkovych, P. Kulish, M. Ustyyanovych, M. Kuzmenko and other authors are analyzed. Their works are included in the collective works «Ukrainian Pre-Revolutionary Fable» Anthology (1966) and «Ukrainian Fable» (2008). The fable has a long- standing formed structure (since the prosaic «parables» of the legendary Ancient Greek fabulist Aesop), the traditional group of characters, motives, plots. The main characters of the fable alongside with the people (strictly speaking – schematic figures of people) are animals, plants, inanimate objects, which personify some ideas and people‘s characters. The purpose of the fable is to ridicule people‘s drawbacks, society‘s evil features aiming to correct or get rid of them. The language of this genre is simple, similar to people‘s common speech. That is why there are not so many stylistic devices and tropes in the fable. Resulting from the linguistic analysis of the investigated works we can assert that proper names are most frequently used in metaphors, they occur in the structure of epithets, namely metaphoric, on the associative and symbolic levels antithesis is widely used. Occasionally some other stylistic devices occur: lithote, periphrasis, comparison. It is conditioned by the allegoric features of the fable.uk_UA
