Анотація
У статті досліджено доцільність використання відеоматеріалів для підвищення рівня мотивації майбутніх учителів іноземної мови. Підкреслено, що використання відеоматеріалів на заняттях з іноземної мови забезпечує функцію передачі інформації, а також отримання зворотного зв'язку в процесі її сприйняття та засвоєння. Запропоновано перелік сайтів з автентичними відеоматеріалами на допомогу студентам та викладачам. Підсумовано, що заняття з використанням відео привертають увагу студента, забезпечують можливості творчого прояву особистості та створюють умови для підвищення рівня мотивації, сприяють індивідуалізації навчання.
The article explores the importance of usage video materials to increase the level of motivation of future foreign language teachers. Teaching a foreign language includes four types of speech activities: reading, speaking, writing and listening, which the student must practice in common, since only then it is possible to speak of a certain level of knowledge of a foreign language. One of the difficulties in learning a foreign language is the very limited ability to communicate with native speakers and use spoken language outside the institution of higher education. It is emphasized that the use of video materials in foreign language classes provides the function of information transmission, as well as receiving feedback in the process of its perception and assimilation, since the information presented in visual form is the most accessible for perception. To process the video there are three stages: pre-viewing stage, while-viewing stage, post-viewing stage. Finding materials in accordance with the curriculum to use video in foreign language classes is easy enough. There are many online resources, online channels and programs available for free. The list of sites with authentic video materials is offered to facilitate students and teachers. It is summarized that he use of video materials helps to satisfy students’ desires and interests, makes the class interesting to all participants of the studying process, increases the level of motivation of learning a foreign language, makes it possible to work with authentic samples of a foreign language, to avoid monotony, which can sometimes arise in classes from the practical course of a foreign language in the traditional methodology in which several classes are allocated to study one topic, and a large volume of lexical material is proposed, which may be a disadvantage of the traditional method of studying the language
