The publication considers the current state of financial provision of the agricultural sector of Ukraine regarding the establishment of an innovation process for the needs of its development. The volume of state financing deficit and the possibility of obtaining financial resources for recipients of innovations from banking and other financial institutions are established. Taking into account the lack of banking programs and products for financing innovations in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, the author conducted an independent questionnaire on the readiness and appropriateness of financing the innovative process of the agrarian sector of Ukraine from the standpoint of expert bankers and leading specialists of financial institutions of Ukraine in the dimension of «branch-risk» and «innovation- risk».
