dc.descriptionIn order to determine the parameters of the mesh according to the purpose of the research, the maximum size of the mesh elements was changed and the experimental results were compared: the maximum size of the mesh element 5.54739077 mm corresponds to the minimum value of the margin of safety coefficient, which is larger than permissible (fig. 3 – n = 1.529). At the same time, the parameters of the finite-element mesh are as follows: a high-quality mesh based on curvature, "in nodes", a total of 55564 nodes; total elements 33913; maximum aspect ratio 21.796; the percentage of elements with an aspect ratio <3 is 79.9; the percentage of elements with an aspect ratio >10 is 0.752; percentage and number of distorted elements 0).
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the parameters of the grid, which determines the minimum permissible value of the safety factor ([n] = 1.5) of the driven gear of the drum gear unit of the UVN-74 vacuum spraying unit.
