Анотація
Проаналізовано показники професійно-технічної освіти України, розглянуто проблеми взаємодії ринку освітніх
послуг з ринком праці, обґрунтовано необхідність компетентнісного підходу в професійній освіті.
The problem of developing Ukrainian labour resources, in spite of certain positive social and economic transformations of the last years, remains actual. The needs of enterprises are increased in technical employees and employees of ordinary professions. There is always a necessity in skilled workers and it is not decreasing against the background of the current official rate of unemployment, depopulation and a rather high level in migration of economically active population. This shows the rigidity of the current system in professional training, currently it is not flexible and efficient enough. Therefore, the problem of staffing the branches of Ukrainian economy is in great importance, taking into consideration the real needs of the labour market and quality requirements of production capacity. The shortage of a skilled labour is the following: 1) the existing shortcoming in the system of vocational fund higher education do not fully meet the requirements of employers on the quality of skilled labour; 2) an imbalance between the demand for specialists in a particular profession and a supply in the labour market; 3) there is no effective organizational-economic mechanism of vocational training. To our mind, the implementation of a competent approach will contribute to achieving the main goal in training a qualified worker of an appropriate level and profile, who will be competitive on a labour market, masterfully using the profession, that is based in related fields of activity, be capable to work effectively at the level of world standards, also be ready for a constant professional improvement and be socially and professionally mobile.
