Особливості інтерпретації фразеологічних одиниць в процесі викладання дисципліни "Практичний курс англійської мови"

Анотація
У статті проаналізовано підходи зарубіжних та вітчизняних науковців до трактування поняття “фразеологічна одиниця”, визначено їх ознаки (експресивність і фразеологічну образність, стійкість вживання та семантичну складність, виразність, лаконічність вираження думки, а також стійкість, ідіоматичність) та властивості. На основі характеристики ключових властивостей фразеологічних одиниць, здійснено спробу їх класифікації на основі аналізу семантичних, граматичних, стилістичних та інших ознак; виділено та проаналізовано основні групи фразеологізмів; охарактеризовано проблеми перекладу англійських фразеологізмів; виділено особливості їх трансформації на українську мову. Наведено основні рекомендації щодо способів перекладу англійських фразеологізмів.
In the article the approaches of foreign and domestic scholars to the interpretation of the concept of “phraseological unit” (as a common name for semantically related phrases, reproducible words or sentences reproduced in speech, which have a completely or partially re-meaning value), their features (expressiveness and phraseological imagery, stability of use and semantic complexity, expressiveness, conciseness of expression of thought, as well as stability, idiomaticity) and properties have been analyzed. On the basis of the characteristics of key properties of phraseological units, an attempt to classify them based on the analysis of semantic, grammatical, stylistic and other features has been made; the main groups of phraseologisms (phraseological unity, phraseological merging and phraseological combinations) have been highlighted. The problems of the translation of English phraseology have been described, in particular it has been proved that phraseological units based on modern realities are one of the most difficult kinds of phraseological units for translation; features of their transformation into Ukrainian language have been singled out. It has been revealed that from the translation point of view, English phraseological units are divided into two groups: phraseological units that have equivalents in the Ukrainian language, which in turn are divided into complete, partial, relative and individual and nonequivalent phraseological units. The main recommendations on how to translate English phraseologisms have been given.
